'Green Faerie' Hand carved Moldavite, set in a hand fabricated and engraved Sterling Silver setting with 18ct Gold accents throughout. Supplied on 45cm chain as pictured.
I spent the last two lockdowns here in Melbourne teaching myself the skills to be able to make this piece. Look closely and you will see a few different mushrooms and blades of grass surrounding this beauty, as she looks over her shoulder, spotting an 18ct gold comet zimming past; a reference to the Moldavite from which she is carved.
At the base of the Engraved setting you will see some Forest Floor Leaf litter, sprouting a Mycelium circle and mushrooms, graduating up to the night sky at the top of the pendant. Features 18ct Gold hand engraved Acorn, Oak Leaf, Comet and Crescent Moon Motifs.
Signed with engraved intials on the inside of the back of the setting.
One of the ways to identify Authentic Moldavite is to look for elongated Air Bubbles. One such bubble has been intentionally left visible in her right thigh for this purpose.
